The New Course
Golf has always been a popular part of a rewarding lifestyle at Lake Arrowhead. The exciting news is that very soon, Lake Arrowhead will have a dynamic new 18-hole championship golf course that will offer challenging play for all levels of golfer.
Our New Championship Golf Course
The developers of Lake Arrowhead have commissioned the well-known golf course designer, DJ DeVictor of Atlanta, GA to redesign the existing course. Thirteen completely new holes are being created atop the level lower valleys along the scenic hillside. These powerful new holes will forever change the way players enjoy the game of golf at Lake Arrowhead. Five holes from the original layout – holes 11 through 15 – will remain as originally designed but will be totally renovated, creating what will be an entirely new golf experience at Lake Arrowhead. The new course will measure over 7100 yards from the tips and will feature full-service practice facilities including a driving range and chipping and putting greens.
About the Course Designers
DJ DeVictor has completed golf course projects throughout the United States, St. Croix – US Virgin Islands, Mexico and Turkey. Many of these golf courses are a part of master planned golf course resort and residential communities. Since his first golf course in 1982, DeVictor has had the opportunity to work with many of the top PGA golf professionals and other top golf designers in the U.S. On numerous Golf Course Master Planned Communities, the company has collaborated with Jack Nicklaus, Larry Nelson, and Davis Love, III as well as Steve Melnyk, Rees Jones, Fred Couples, Desmond Muirhead, and others. The design team utilizes all the knowledge gained from working with this diverse group of individuals to inspire a creative golf course design, which responds to the natural character of the land, creating a memorable and exciting experience for golfers.
